[Fifth Age Ambience]

Tense

Brooding melody on the piano that created a nice sense of tension throughout. However the pieces melodies and rhythms were all a little repetitive. You did a nice job with the song structure to counterbalance this, and whilst i feel at times it was still lacking you did a lot to add interest to the piece with the echo effects coming and going and the arrival and dropping out of different instruments. I like the mix of different sounds you have here, especially the ominous choir like one at the start. All in all it was an enjoyable piece, but perhaps a little repetitive.

Enjoyable

I liked the progression in this piece. At the start i truly had no idea what it was going to end up like, and i was presently surprised. The build up of the different instruments and melodies with the ever constant swelling pad in the background was really cool, and had a ominous and mysterious feel.
All your melodies had character and poise, and nothing felt like filler. The instrument sounds were thick and deep but i felt at times the mastering/mixing was a little off. Regardless it kept me engaged throughout and felt highly original. Good stuff!

Enjoyalbe

This was a very relaxing piece to listen to. Good title too, it's cool that nothing shows up for this on your audio submissions page. Anyhow the melody and the echoey sounds were nice and it all fit well together. The only thing i'd say is making it a bit longer would be nice.
Oh and nice panning too.

Enjoyable

The harmonies along with the slow melody at the start are great, it opens with just the right sized instrumentation, not too quiet or loud. The change at 0:31 is nice but the new staccato sounding strings have something a little off about them. I think it might be too much reverb or too long an attack. Again i like your panning, it adds some depth to the piece, but at times i think it's a little over done. Perhaps bring everything a little closer to the center. The song structure is a tiny bit repetetive but it builds and progresses and kept my interest throughout. You could have done more with the slower higher picthed strings that come in at 2:23, a more complex melody could have added some depth instead of just mirroring the chord sequence. It build nicely to the point at 3:15 and all in all it was an enjoyable listen. Good stuff!

Tight

Really professional recording quality, mixing and mastering. All the instruments sound super great and I liked the vocals, really full of style and enthusiasm, though at times i think they are a little quiet. The composition itself isn't that interesting, and the song structure is a little generic. I really like the "falling.... finding..." hook, but the other parts not so much. You've obviously spent time making practising and recording this piece, and it's paid off. Good work!

[Endless Endeavor (Redux)]

I like it!

The lyrics are pretty good (perhaps a little cliche), and the singing is great. I like how you have a fairly relaxed singing style, it doesn't sound too posey and has a natural tone to it. The guitar isn't all that exciting but it does the job. The recording quality is pretty good and i like the parts with you doing background singing for yourself. The chord patterns are nice and the song structure is varied enough to stop the song getting too stale. Nice work!

Nice

I really liked the beat, but some of it was a little hard to hear. In the intro especially the voice needed to be louder. And the parts with multiple voices speaking at once are a little hard to understand. I personally don't like rap battles that much, hearing someone insult somebody else really isn't that entertaining, but i guess it's part of rap culture and i have to respect that... My vote goes to Klazik.

Interesting

The reverb and echoe of the various percussion creates for a more atmospheric feel than the usual hard hitting snare and thumbing bass drum or a lot of songs on NG. You use a lot of panning and i like that, The sidechaining of the bass is nice too. I think it is a little long, and can get repetitive after 0:46, and i don't really like the bass line that comes in then, it seems like it can't decide whether or not to be minor or major and just randomly fluctuates. All in all it's an interesting piece and i enjoyed it.

[Fr0z - Masterpiece (LYRICS)]

Good

The beat is nice, it has a dark and menacing feel and the strings sound ominous and dark. The drums are fairly simple, but they do the job. The beats pretty repetitive but i suppose that's the point, and you do add some interesting touches like changes in what the strings play, i especially enjoy the part that starts at 1:55. The rapping is a little hard to hear at times and your voice isn't that clear, it would be nice if you posted the lyrics in the author comments. The words are pretty good, it all seems a little vague and a bit too "i'm a great rapper, ficl y'all haters"-ish for me. You said it's rough though and this is definitely a great concept for a song. Good stuff!

Okay

The highs are way to high, you need some low-pass filter on that really high pitched synth or just have it play an octave down. The tune is a little too repetitive and the chord progression is really static. The drums sound quite interesting, but there rhythms aren't too exciting. For a 50 second loop it is ok but i think some more varied instrumentation and a better song structure would really help.
