Well it wasn't great. Fairly predictable, quite short and not amazingly funny. Your art style is okay, and you've obviously put some effort into it, but it's punchline is overdone and it has nothing too make it stand out. The voice acting was alright though. Good luck with future stuff.

HipnikDragomir responds:

Thanks for the constructive criticism. I did rush it and just wanted something simple with a decent joke.

Enjoyable, great atmosphere!

The sound design (whilst not "professional" or "clean") was really atmospheric. The voice acting, sounds of the rode and strange drown noises in the background really drew me in to the seen, and gave this flash a mood i don't often find online. The visual style too was unique, i assume everything was closely referenced form photos? It was a little odd that i never really saw the passenger get in or sit down, but i suppose that added to the tension. The premise/concept of the flash was one i enjoyed, and it was all well executed. Could do with a preloader or at least a play button (not auto-start) but other than that really nice. Looking forward to part 2!

Stampini responds:

Thank you for your kind comments. I work in Toonboom Animate whuich does not support the introduction of internal pre-loaders. In answer to your question, I think it was all made of photos adjusted for light and colour.

Humans are the worst animals god ever had

audacity to create. Not only did i love (more like WORSHIP) the misanthropic overtones but i also loved (salivated over) the misandristic undertones that felt like a hearty slap to my misogynistic face. This animation was like a knife to the heart of the patriachy that has been oppressing the good women-folk for far too long. I enjoyed the IRONY of the phallic nose of mother earth (our dear sweet gaia). The music was i expect a subtle jab at the overly reductionist and deterministic (determined by the filthy male pigs may i add) world view that is forced down our throats (much like the male penis) 24/7 by the liberal media's propaganda machine. The synthesizers reminiscent of the 8-bit era of videogames were subversively used not for the ignorant agendas of the VG chauvinist dog industry (degrading women, encouraging subservient stereotypes) but instead for the glorious accompaniment of sublime MOTHER natures existential journey through creation and hubris. (a hubris of MANkinds pride, certainly not gaias undying modesty). I hope this is the first stone cast (FOR WOMEN ARE WITHOUT SIN) and the beggining of a female uprising to their deserved thrones (not at the top of phallic towers!) but atop the mountains. The curvy voluptuous rolling hills.

golfinho responds:

ahhhh, is it? now i understand.

Ha ha

Really great style of humour. The voicing is all great, nice script, quick punchy of the wall and not too cliched. The art isn't the best, but it does the job and you have some interesting character designs and environments. I remember watching a few other of these and the seem to be getting better with each new episode. Great stuff and keep it up!

PParreira responds:

thanks for the great review.
hope i'll make the next one even better, after all that's my objective.

Great!

I really liked this. The art style is simplistic but does the job, the music was catchy and (unlike everyone else apparently) i thought the voice of the cat was fine. I enjoyed the sort of optimistic pessimism, talking about the problems of christmas with a cheerful irony that was very refreshing! Much better than all the trite "christmas cheer" animations, you made an interesting point and delivered it well. Good stuff!

jackbliss responds:

Dude I think u got the wrong movie but thanks anyway! xD

Ambitious

You have set out on a very large project here, so you deserve credit for that. I enjoy your art style, it's nice that you don't use outlines, and don't overuse gradients TOO much (though at times they do stand out as cheap). The voice acting was all pretty good, and the music was lovely. Your art style is enjoyable, but at times it seems a little lazy, there are issues that could be fixed easily that are left blatantly undone (the change of focus when the rama falls out of the tree means the black silhouette of the rama doesn't fill the corners of the stage as it should). Still it was a fun thing to watch, and i wish you the best with future efforts!

Deer50 responds:

thanks :)

Good to see you on NG!

I really enjoyed this animation too. The fbf was all smooth and well done, and the lighting and fancy effects blew me away. It was well co-ordinated with the music, and though the start at times felt a little static/slow. However this added to the contrast as the action built up towards the end. So my only really complaint is the pacing, and perhaps not the most amazing concept (though it was well conceived). Good luck with future stuff!

Dojang responds:

hey man, havn't hung with you since forever!
a fair assessment. detail probably changed as i got more adventerous as the process continued.

thanks for stopping by, man.

Great animation!

The art style was really nice, and your fbf skills are great. The character designs were original and pleasing to the eye, and the scenery was interesting too. The plot was a little strange, and i wasn't qutie sure what was going on. I didn't know which character i was rooting for, and that made the fight scene a little less engaging. The music was nice but the lack of sound effects was a odd, and left me feeling a little disconnected. Still, your art style and animation skills alone made it an enjoyable watch, and it was a cool concept. Good stuff!

THE STORY IS ABOUT THE CHASE FOR THE HALLOWEEN SPIRIT ON HALLOWEENS EVE. A DARK SPIRIT TRYING TO STEAL THE HALLOWEEN SPIRIT OF A BOY, BUT A GOOD SPIRIT CAME TO RESCUE!...TNX MAN!

Cute

I liked it, nice animation. The art style was enjoyable and didn't seem to be mimicking any popular artists which is cool. I especially liked Maxs awkward face and the reconciliation moment at the end. Good work!

YergTV responds:

to be honest I attempted to copy Yotam's style for this animation specifically, but thanks for the review anyway

Heh

Ha i love this series. Great parody of lots of different parts of popular culture and just enjoyable humour. The animation obviously leaves a lot to be asked, but it suits the over the top scenarios and crazy comedy. The awkward scene at the grave yard was great and you keep a plot flowing throughout so no matter how weird the scenarios are it never seems pointless. Keep it up!

Pliskin99 responds:

Thanks! Haha glad you liked it
