Beautiful

I loved the panning at the start and the sound of the train, had a very cinematic feel that dragged me into the world this beat creates. You have some interesting samples in here and everything sounds super proffesional. The beat rolls along nicely and you keep it varied enough, but not so varied it couldn't be rapped over. I would love to here someone over this, but until then i'll just have to enjoy ti for what it is, which is beautiful.

Crueltool responds:

Yeah man! Urban style movie about grafitty work)) Thanks)

Interesting

Very interesting. Odd choice of instruments, especially what sounds like whisteling. However everything is a little TOO echoey and that puts me off a bit. The chord pattern isn't particulary catches me and is in contrast with the instruments, which create a very definite feel, as the chord structure doesn't really go anywhere or do anything to give the piece a mood. I think if you worked on that you could have something very nice here, but until then it feels a little stale despite the ood sounds.

FelTiProductions responds:

I'll sharpen the sound more next time before export. But, I know what you mean, about the "staleness", of sound; it doesn't really change much as in, for a melody, and there really isn't much of a difference between the chorus chords; and the melody chords. I guess, there aren't that many cuts in the beat as a whole, either. I have to take the time to put all of that into the song; so, now when i make a new one, I'm going to make it a priority, to take that bland feel out of the situation and give it a little more life, apart from the monotone, melodies, some times i get caught up in the echo and it throws me way off too, i make so much music a day, that i treat sound kinda cynical in a way, but thanks for the input, i appreciate the feed back.

Great

I really enjoyed this. The mix of the different instruments and there individual textures works really well and the piece has a very interesting elegiac feel. It sounds somewhat holy, with bells that remind me of church. The run that comes in at 0:32 is pure genius and fits in very nicely. The beat flows well and has strength and life. It had me nodding my head and i could easily imagine some ardent rapping over the top. Good stuff!

DiroNomer responds:

Thanks. I intended for this to be longer, but I pretty much lost interest after 30 or so minutes lol. Since I used FL demo to make this, I was just going to close it out and give up on it, but I figured it sounded good enough to be uploaded and turned into a short loop. I appreciate the comment :D

Nice

Fair enough taking a beat off Youtube but at least leave a link back to them or give the name of the producer. Anyhow I liked your rapping. You have a very clear voice and good diction, so even when you rap fast i can still hear what you are saying. You've obviously put a lot of emotion into this and it comes through ardently. I liked the line "F5 of emotions" and the hook was great too. All in all a very enjoyable listen.

DominickTheRenegade responds:

thanks really appreciate it, dont have access to the internet much didnt have time for all that i cant find the beat anymore..still lookin for it again, but anyway once again thanks for the input, i recorded this at home on a homemic did the best i can so im glad to hear you someone say they can hear me on the track clearly. good look

Harsh sounding

Far too repetitive. The repetition of the opening melody gets annoying quickly. However once it drops out and we get the longer bass line taking the lead it becomes more enjoyable. The drum loop is a little simple and the whole rhythm of the piece makes it feel a little thumping and forced. However when you have the melody and counter melody going together you get a nice sound. The guitars sound a little sharp, perhaps a little to distorted or they just need some more equalizing. The structure is good though and it loops well.

Psicodric responds:

Thank you for the response. I'm new in FL Studio and I can only make simples songs like that. Little rough, I know.
I appreciate your response as knowledge for me.
Thank you for show me that point of view.

Can you review my other attempt?

If it's not bother for you. Thank you!

Doo do dooo

Interesting rhythms, i like the pauses. I'm not sure the panning of the bass-ey sound tot he left is that good a choice though, the normal rule of thumb is to keep the bass centred. Some of the synths sounded a little tinny and screechy, most notably the one that enters at 0:15. It all fits together nicely and creates an interesting atmosphere, though i'm not sure i'd call it ominous. For that i'd probably have a little more dissonance. It loops well though and the melodies are enjoyable.

SirKoto51 responds:

Thanks for the feedback. :D

Great

Loved it, really epic feel, nice flow and some great lyrics. Your voice is nice and you have a lot of attitude. All in all very enjoyable, good luck!

Ganashi responds:

Thanks man.

Untroubled

I really enjoyed this piece, has a really nice vibe to it, very relaxed and laid back. I thought your singing was good, and the echo and equalization you did to it help it meld into the track nicely, not overpowering but adding another layer of complexity that is welcomed. Not sure what to recommend you change other than extending it's length, and perhaps to keep it from getting stale varying the structure a little. Good stuff!

bobiscoo32 responds:

Thank you so much man :) I was thinking of just getting more vocal cuts in there (that aren't my singing) or adding some synth so look out for this to be updated soon. Again, thank you for an awesome review and now ive just gotta check out your stuff :)

Enjoyable

Neat concept, and you pulled it off well too. I assume the sharp attack of the notes was produced by cutting the noises to somewhere after you had begun singing them. This creates a really nice effect and the tones and textures of the piece are relaxing and meld together well. You have some fun melodies in there too, and some complex layering of melody and counter melody that keeps the piece from ever getting boring. I really enjoyed listening to the piece, and am downloading it now!

Thank you!
